Owner and employee training is a critical aspect of green cleaning that also contributes to maintaining a professional workforce with higher employee retention. All of AGB Services’ Truly–Green building service providers are fully trained and certified by the Green Cleaning Institute. All AGB Services employees are in training for a minimum of their first 30 days of employment. Upon hiring, all AGB Services personnel undergo initial training in the following areas:

  • New Hire Orientation
    • Company Philosophy
    • Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
    • Sexual Harassment
    • Safety Procedure
  • OSHA Training
  • Proper use of Equipment and Tools

In our Health Care & Medical Facilities we train our employees in the following:

  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Bloodborne Pathogens
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
  • Clean Room Cleaning
  • Operating Room Cleaning
  • Emergency Room Cleaning
  • Occupied / Unoccupied Patient Rooms
  • Common Areas
  • Hazard Communication (HazCom)
  • Proper Hazardous Material Handling & Disposal

All AGB Services managers and employees also receive training on an annual basis in order to maintain knowledge of the correct procedures for safety and operation, as well as green cleaning reevaluation tests. Annual training addresses issues from changes in safety and operation procedures to new technologies and changes in environmental standards.
